## Description

The 8" USB-C TFT Touch Display is an 8-inch IPS display module with 1024 x 768 resolution and USB-C connectivity. It integrates a PCAP touch panel and delivers 550 cd/m² (nits), rated Bright Indoor, across a wide 0 ~ +70 (℃) operating range. With a 4:3 aspect ratio and IPS wide viewing angles, it suits industrial, embedded and USB-C touch display applications.

The 8" USB-C TFT Touch Display connects to its host over a single USB-C cable that carries video, touch and power together — one cable and one connector for the whole module.

#### A 4:3 screen behind 2.0 mm of glass

1024 x 768 on a 162.05 x 121.54 mm active area gives a pixel pitch of 0.1583 mm, about 160.5 pixels per inch — fine enough for dense read-outs at arm's length.

The 4:3 shape gives more height for a list or an instrument page, and the front is a 2.0 mm cover glass with a black printed border.

### Why a module instead of a bare panel

Built up from parts, this display would be a panel, a signal harness, a matching driver board, a backlight driver, a touch sensor, a touch controller and a supply for all of it — each a separate part number, a separate supplier and a separate qualification to redo when one goes end-of-life. Here they are one assembly behind one connector.

- One connector. Video in, touch out and power on the same cable, so the enclosure needs one opening instead of three.

- Powered over the same cable. The module draws its power from the USB-C connection.

- Touch controller included. The PCAP controller is part of the module and reports back over the same cable.

- One assembly to qualify. Panel, driver board, backlight driver and touch controller ship under one part number, from one supplier, with one revision history.

### Assembled and tested before shipment

Touch sensor and cover glass assembled as one front, driver board mounted, cables fitted and dressed, and every module functionally tested before it ships.

The board, the sensor and the glass are part of the module part number, so their revisions move together and changes are notified under our ECN process.
