## Description

The 7" HDMI TFT Touch Display is a 7-inch IPS display module with 800 x 480 resolution and HDMI connectivity. It integrates a PCAP touch panel and delivers 1000 cd/m² (nits), rated High Brightness, across a wide -30 ~ +80 (℃) operating range. With a 17:10 aspect ratio and IPS wide viewing angles, it suits industrial, embedded and HDMI touch display applications.

## Overview

### 7" HDMI touch display, one part number

The 7" HDMI TFT Touch Display is a complete assembly: a 7-inch IPS panel at 800 x 480, a projected-capacitive touch sensor behind 1.1 mm cover glass, and the driver board with the LED backlight driver on it. Video arrives over a standard HDMI cable, touch reports back over USB or I2C, and the module runs from a DC input.

At 1000 cd/m² (nits) it is rated High Brightness on our scale — twice our 500 cd/m² comparison baseline — with a -30 ~ +80 (℃) operating window.

#### High Brightness, -30 to +80 ℃

The same part covers a brightly lit interior and an unheated cabinet, with 152.4 x 91.44 mm of active area inside a 182.6 x 117 mm outline.

The IPS panel holds its colour and contrast well off-axis, so the image stays consistent when the screen is read from above or to one side.

### Why a module instead of a bare panel

Built up from parts, this display would be a panel, a signal harness, a matching driver board, a backlight driver, a touch sensor, a touch controller and a supply for all of it — each a separate part number, a separate supplier and a separate qualification to redo when one goes end-of-life. Here they are one assembly.

- One video cable. Standard HDMI in to an 800 x 480 panel.

- Touch already fitted. The projected-capacitive sensor sits behind 1.1 mm cover glass and reports over USB or I2C — no separate controller board to mount and wire.

- Backlight driver included. The LED driver is part of the module, and the panel cable is fitted at the factory.

- One assembly to qualify. Panel, touch, driver board and backlight driver ship under one part number, from one supplier, with one revision history.

### Assembled and tested before shipment

Touch sensor and cover glass fitted, driver board mounted, panel and touch cables dressed, and every module functionally tested before it ships.
