## Description

The 5" TFT Touch Display is a 5-inch IPS display module with 800 x 480 resolution and TTL connectivity. It integrates a PCAP touch panel and delivers 900 cd/m² (nits), rated Enhanced Brightness, across a wide -20 ~ +70 (℃) operating range. With a 16:9 aspect ratio and IPS wide viewing angles, it suits industrial, embedded and TTL touch display applications.

## Overview

### A 5" panel with PCAP touch over I2C

This 5" TFT Touch Display is a bare panel with a touch layer: a 5-inch IPS panel at 800 x 480 with its own driver circuitry, a parallel TTL interface, and a projected-capacitive touch sensor behind 1.1 mm cover glass reporting over I2C.

At 900 cd/m² (nits) it is rated Enhanced Brightness on our scale, in a 5.25 mm body.

#### Glass front, coordinates over I2C

The touch sensor sits behind 1.1 mm cover glass flush to the frame, and its controller reports touch coordinates over I2C.

At 900 cd/m² the picture stays readable through the glass, and IPS holds colour and contrast well off-axis.

### Straight onto your board

800 x 480 on a 108 x 64.8 mm active area gives a 0.135 mm pixel. The panel takes that image over parallel TTL, direct from the display controller on an SBC, an MCU or a system-on-module.

- No conversion stage. Parallel RGB arrives at the panel as it leaves the display controller, with no bridge or scaler board in the path.

- Driver circuitry on the panel. The host supplies the pixel data and the timing — clock, sync and data enable. The datasheet gives the interface timings and the panel's supply and control lines.

- Touch arrives as coordinates. The projected-capacitive controller is on the touch assembly and reports over I2C, so your board reads positions directly.

- 5.25 mm panel body. The glass, backlight, touch sensor and 1.1 mm cover glass in one stack, with the LED backlight driven from your board.
