## Description

The 4.3" TFT Touch Display is a 4.3-inch IPS display module with 800 x 480 resolution and TTL connectivity. It integrates a PCAP touch panel and delivers 450 cd/m² (nits), rated Standard Brightness, across a wide -20 ~ +70 (℃) operating range. With a 16:9 aspect ratio and IPS wide viewing angles, it suits industrial, embedded and TTL touch display applications.

## Overview

### A 4.3" WVGA panel with PCAP touch over I2C

This 4.3" TFT Touch Display is a bare panel with a touch layer: a 4.3-inch IPS panel at 800 x 480 with its own driver circuitry, a parallel TTL interface, and a projected-capacitive touch sensor behind 0.7 mm cover glass reporting over I2C. It takes video directly from a host display controller, with no converter stage in between.

At 450 cd/m² (nits) it is specified for indoor and panel-mounted equipment, in a 4.6 mm body.

#### Glass front, I2C touch, 4.6 mm

The touch sensor sits behind 0.7 mm cover glass flush to the frame, and its controller reports touch coordinates over I2C.

IPS holds colour and contrast well off-axis, so the image reads the same square on or from the side.

### Straight onto your board

800 x 480 on a 95.04 x 53.856 mm active area gives a 0.1188 x 0.1122 mm pixel. The panel takes that image over parallel TTL, direct from the display controller on an SBC, an MCU or a system-on-module.

- No conversion stage. Parallel RGB arrives at the panel as it leaves the display controller, with no bridge or scaler board in the path.

- Driver circuitry on the panel. The host supplies the pixel data and the timing — clock, sync and data enable. The datasheet gives the interface timings and the panel's supply and control lines.

- Touch arrives as coordinates. The projected-capacitive controller is on the touch assembly and reports over I2C, so your board reads positions rather than sampling a resistive divider.

- 4.6 mm panel body. The glass, backlight, touch sensor and 0.7 mm cover glass in one stack, with the LED backlight driven from your board.
