## Highlights

### Full HD 1920 x 1080

1920 x 1080 pixels across a 476.6 x 268.1 mm active area - a 0.2482 mm pixel pitch, about 102 PPI. Dense HMI layouts and small type stay legible.

### 800 cd/m² — enhanced brightness

Readable under workshop and retail lighting, and in bright indoor positions where a standard 500 cd/m² panel starts to wash out.

### Standard HDMI input

The same input a monitor takes. No LVDS harness to specify, no driver board to match.

### Single 24 V DC supply

A single 24 V rail powers both the logic and the LED backlight - no separate backlight supply to fit.

### -20 ~ +80 (℃) operating range

Rated for unheated cabinets and outdoor-adjacent enclosures, with the same range in storage.

### IPS wide viewing angles

Colour and contrast stay stable off-axis, viewed from the side or from below.

## Overview

### Full HD on one HDMI cable

The 21.5" HDMI TFT Display is a complete display module, not a bare panel. A 21.5-inch Full HD IPS panel arrives with the driver board, the LED backlight driver and the panel harness already fitted as a single part. Connect one HDMI cable for video and one 24 V DC rail for power, and the module shows a 1920 x 1080 image.

It is built for equipment that runs continuously: an IPS panel that holds its colour off-axis, 800 cd/m² (nits) — Enhanced Brightness on our scale, and a -20 ~ +80 (℃) operating window that covers unheated cabinets and outdoor-adjacent enclosures.

#### A Full HD image at working distance

A 1920 x 1080 grid across a 476.6 x 268.1 mm active area gives a pixel pitch of 0.2482 mm — roughly 102 pixels per inch. That is fine enough for dense dashboards and multi-window HMI layouts at the distance a console screen is read from.

The IPS panel keeps colour and contrast stable when the screen is viewed from the side or from below.

### Why a module instead of a bare panel

A bare 21.5" panel still needs an LVDS harness, a matching driver board, a backlight driver and its own logic supply before it shows anything at all. Each of those is a separate part number, a separate supplier and a separate qualification to redo when it goes end-of-life. This module integrates all of them, so the work left on your side is mounting and two cables.

- One video cable. Standard HDMI in — the output that industrial PCs, SBCs and media players already have.

- One power rail. A single 24 V DC supply powers both the logic and the backlight.

- No separate backlight driver. The backlight driver sits on the board, and the panel cable is fitted at the factory.

- One assembly to qualify. Your EMC, thermal and vibration testing is run against a single module instead of a stack of parts from different vendors.

#### Assembled and tested before shipment

The driver board is mounted on the back of the panel with the signal cable and the backlight harness fitted and dressed, and every module is functionally tested before shipment.

The board is part of the module part number, so board and panel revisions are controlled together and changes are notified under our ECN process. You are not matching a panel revision against a third-party board revision every time you place an order.

### Where it is used

| Application | What this module brings to it |
| --- | --- |
| Machine status and production monitoring | A Full HD canvas for andon boards, line dashboards and SCADA overview screens, readable across a shop floor |
| Operator consoles with physical controls | The display arrives over HDMI while input stays on the existing keypad, encoder or membrane panel |
| Retail and digital signage | 800 cd/m² keeps content readable under retail and workshop lighting, in a standard 16:9 landscape format |
| Passenger and public information displays | A display-only role running continuously, with a temperature range that suits unheated and outdoor-adjacent positions |
| Medical and laboratory instruments | Stable IPS colour and contrast for imaging and measurement read-outs |
| Gaming and amusement machines | Button- and lever-operated cabinets: modern game boards output HDMI natively, so the module connects directly with no external scaler or converter box |

Where the operator needs to work on the screen — a kiosk, a vending front, a touch HMI — a PCAP touch layer is one of the standard adaptations below.

### Recommended accessories

| Item | Part number | Length |
| --- | --- | --- |
| HDMI cable | 315-H019A1050A | 500 mm / 19.69 inch |
| HDMI cable | 315-H019A10A1A | 1000 mm / 39.37 inch |

### Customisation services

This module can be adapted, or swapped for a closer fit from the range. We hold over 500 standard models from 3.5" to 21.5" with 3–5 year lifecycle support, and we adapt them — or design something new — around the enclosure and the environment you already have.

| Level | What we change | When it fits |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Adapt this module | Backlight brightness, cover glass and surface treatment, a PCAP touch layer tuned for gloves or a thicker front panel, cable lengths and connector types, mounting bracket or frame, branding and packaging | The 21.5" Full HD panel suits the design, and the fit to the enclosure needs adjusting |
| Re-specify from our range | A different size, resolution, brightness or interface — HDMI, USB-C, LVDS, MIPI-DSI, TTL — from the 500+ models we already stock and support | A neighbouring size, resolution, brightness or interface suits the design better |
| Design to your requirement | Custom driver board, custom mechanical, panel sourcing and long-term supply planning for your programme | The design calls for something outside the standard range, or has to stay in production for many years |

An early idea is enough to start from — we can look at a requirement and come back with feasibility, cost and lead time.

Whatever we agree — brightness, temperature range, mechanical envelope, cover glass, touch behaviour — is written down before anything is built, so the sample you approve is what later batches are made and inspected against.
