## Description

The 12.1" Mounting Frame HDMI Touch Display is a 12.1-inch IPS display module with 1024 x 768 resolution and HDMI connectivity. It integrates a PCAP touch panel and delivers 850 cd/m² (nits), rated Enhanced Brightness, across a wide -30 ~ +80 (℃) operating range. With a 4:3 aspect ratio and IPS wide viewing angles, it suits industrial, embedded and HDMI touch display applications.

## Highlights

## Overview

### A panel-mount touch display that arrives as one part

The 12.1" Mounting Frame HDMI Touch Display is a complete assembly: a 12.1-inch IPS panel, a projected-capacitive touch sensor bonded to its cover glass, the driver board, and a mounting frame with fixing slots along both sides. It goes into a cut-out from the front, takes video over a standard HDMI cable and touch over USB, and needs no bracket design, no LVDS harness and no separate touch controller board.

It is specified for cold and bright installations: 850 cd/m² (nits) of brightness and a UV-cut cover glass for positions that catch direct sun, and a -30 ~ +80 (℃) range for unheated enclosures.

#### Optically bonded touch, not an air gap

The cover glass is bonded to the panel with UV-cured optically clear adhesive. Removing the air gap removes the internal glass-to-air reflections that wash out a stacked assembly in bright light, and it leaves no cavity for dust or condensation to collect in. Bonding also stiffens the front assembly, so normal touch pressure produces far less local flex and image distortion than an air-gap stack.

Touch is projected capacitive, read through the bonded cover glass and returned to the host over USB.

### Why a mounting frame instead of a bare panel

A bare 12.1" panel needs a touch sensor sourced and bonded, an LVDS harness, a matching driver board, a backlight driver and a bracket designed around all of it. Each is a separate part number, a separate supplier and a separate qualification to redo when one of them goes end-of-life. This module integrates them and adds the fixing points, so the work left on your side is a cut-out and two cables.

- One video cable. Standard HDMI in — the output that industrial PCs, SBCs and media players already have.

- One touch cable. USB, straight to the host; no touch controller board to fit or to power.

- No separate backlight driver. The backlight driver sits on the board, and the panel cable is fitted at the factory.

- One assembly to qualify. Your EMC, thermal and vibration testing is run against a single module instead of a stack of parts from different vendors.

#### Assembled and tested before shipment

Touch sensor bonded, driver board mounted, cables fitted and dressed, and every module functionally tested before shipment.

The board and the sensor are part of the module part number, so their revisions are controlled together and changes are notified under our ECN process. You are not matching a panel revision against a third-party board or a third-party sensor every time you place an order.

This is a touch module in a front-mounting frame, so it suits equipment where the operator works directly on the screen and the display has to sit flush in a panel.
